Management and supervision

Armed Response Backup

All Security officers must have Armed Response Back- Up around the clock. TRS offers dedicated Reaction vehicles with average response times of 3-5 minutes all Security  Officers are issued with panic buttons.

Community and Police Operations

Tactical Guarding is fully proactive and is proud of our SWAT Division. We support crime prevention and are constantly operating with the community, SAPS and JMPD on crime prevention operations, supplying manpower and logistics

Effective control and record keeping is crucial to effective security. We therefore recommend the use of electronic access systems which in part gives the final access control decision to you the client.  But must also cater for:

Guard Patrol Management systems

It is essential that Guards are monitored and managed while on patrol. Tactical Guarding offers a Proactive and Reactive Patrol System which track through GPS and GPRS, your security officer ensuring his and your safety with Dead Man Alerts and a mobile panic button.

Risk Assessments

Preventing crime is a team effort! On all initial contracts and every 4 months thereafter Tactical Guarding carries out a full risk assessment. By working together and improving system and utilizing technology incidents should be Non existing.

Incident Investigation

Should an incident occur on site.

1. The situation will be brought under control by the Armed Response Officer
2. The supervisor  will be dispatched to start an initial investigation
3. The area manager will be onsite and will initiate a full investigation with recommendation to prevent further incidents.
4. A full report will be supplied

To ensure your safety we are uncompromising on quality staff! All staff is fully checked:

• PSIRA Registration
• Background employment and reference checks
• Training certification verification
• Aptitude testing
• SAPS National ID criminal record checks
• SAPS National  fingerprint criminal record checks

All Security officers are trained onsite and in PSIRA accredited training schools in addition to the above all security officers have to pass through our In House BOOT CAMP
